Hello. Thank you for joining us today-
There are innumerable religions in the world, and just as many names for 'God'.
Regardless of the name you prefer, with prayer we are all opening up our hearts and minds to the same energy.
I do not believe that any of these religions have it all figured out
I believe that all of them mean to serve the same greater good.
In the interest of unity among all religions, Ill assume we all pray to a universal source of positive energy
I will call this energy *. You can call it God, Allah, The Universe, The Creator, Yin, Bob, Jehova, whatever.
* doesn't care what you call it, neither do we.
Allahu Akbar!  The first time I saw that, I had no idea what it meant.  I had to look it up.
Translated, it means "God is Great!" ...it goes much deeper than that.
* is greater than ME. * is greater than YOU. * is greater than anything any of us can ever be or do.
Many believe we are all made in the likeness of *, that * is part of us, and therefore we are all part of *
If I am one small part of *, and you are as well...perhaps we can combine our energies to achieve great things.
The hive mind ...The awesome power of positive thinking.  This is the reason for these prayers
many pieces of the same whole; appealing as a unified voice, speaking to * together with open hearts and minds
In my definition, prayer is the act of articulating our hopes and dreams, and appealing to * to manifest them.
* tends to give us what we need, when we need it.  Regardless of what we want or ask for.
*, we humble ourselves and beg you please hear our voice-
Give strength and resolve to our brothers and sisters in Iran.
Let them hear and be guided by your unspoken word.
Heal their wounds for they are numerous.  Ease their pain for it is great.
Bring light to the hearts of those imprisoned, let them hold fast to each other knowing that they are not alone
*, we ask you to give stamina to those that you have already called into action.
Let them have the patience to hear and understand the views of others
Allow them clarity to see how they can help people to hear your voice.
Give them the wisdom to remember history, and to learn from the successes and failures of their enemies
*, smile upon the lives and hearts of those that give selflessly to spread hope worldwide on the internet.
They have taught many people to use their own skills toward making the world a better place.
*, please inspire those that seek to profit from the misfortune of others.
Show them how to apply their talents in constructive ways.
Help them understand that there are greater rewards when you do great things.
*, we ask you to speak to our enemies, let them realize that their actions are unjust and inhumane.
Remind them that there will be no light at the end of the tunnel that they have chosen.
Speak loudly to those being made to act unjustly out of fear. Let their consciences overpower those fears.
Give them the courage to stand up against these actions that they know are wrong.
Give their friends, neighbors, and families the faith to stand together and echo your voice.
*, you are great.  please bring light to this darkness, so that Iran may greet a bright new day.  Thank You.
